How do you help your clients?
I enjoy being able to help clients move on from an emotional and stressed state to a place where they feel able to move on with their lives as well as begin to believe there is a future. I encourage my clients to take things step by step so they can feel that progress is being made and they are arriving at a solution which will provide certainty and a solid base to move forward.
For me there is nothing more rewarding than achieving an outstanding result for my client at the end of a case.
Interesting Fact: I won the Law Society Prize for Outstanding Performance at the end of my Legal Practice Course having achieved the highest marks of anyone in my year.
Why Law?
I am passionate about using the law to make my clients’ lives better. I have loved family law from the word go and I am even more passionate about it 22 years later.

Cassie Moran

Years of Experience: I qualified as a solicitor in January 2024 after completing my training contract here at Birkett & Co Solicitors. I have worked in law firms since I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2018, previously working in personal injury before starting as a family paralegal in 2021 whilst I was studying the Legal Practice Course and an LLM at the University of Law.
How do you help your clients?
I aim to put clients at ease through what can be one of the most daunting times of their lives. I know how important it is for clients to be kept up to date with the progress of their cases.
What do you do outside of work?
Outside of work, you can find me going for long walks, attending live music or comedy events, or reading a good book.
Why Law?
It has always been my goal to have a career focused on helping and supporting others.
You must keep your mind on the objective, not on the obstacle.
Tina Rayward

Area of Law: Family Law
Years of Experience: I qualified as a Legal Executive (FCILEx) in 2009 and specialise in all areas of Family Law including divorce, separation, financial remedy, child arrangement issues and injunctions.
How do you help your clients?
My empathetic approach and professional knowledge ensure that many of my clients have sought advice and assistance via personal recommendations.

Paralegal

Years of Experience: I initially started working at Birkett & Co Solicitors back in September 2022 as an administrative assistant and now I work as a Paralegal and have been since January 2024.
